Myerscough College’s Vice Principal met Prince Harry when he visited the area in the wake of the floods that hit late last year.
Alison Robinson was invited to meet the Prince in St Michael’s Village Hall as part of his tour of the village to meet local people affected and to see how the recovery process was getting on.
Alison was able to speak to the Prince to tell him about how Myerscough College has helped local school, St Michael’s Primary. The school was badly affected when their buildings were flooded during the bad weather in December.
The school are currently being housed in temporary buildings on Myerscough’s main campus while repair works are carried out.
