Our team at Lodge Farm Livery Yard held a Charity Livery Show on Sunday 22nd July and raised a superb £1024.90 for Dementia UK.

The show was run with the support of Oakhill Veterinary Centre, who sponsored the whole thing and judged the event. There were also many prizes donated for a huge raffle via lots of kind companies.

The show itself was a great success with the following winners; Melanie Jacques (Supreme Champion), Victoria Newsham (Best Partnership), Sue Lowther (Best Veteran Horse), Shelley Smith and Isla (Best Bling), Joanne Muller (Best Groom) and Jessica Banks (Best Sports Horse).

Lodge Farm Livery Manager, Rosie Hart, said: “Dementia UK is very close to our hearts as one of the members of staff’s mother is suffering from it, so we always hold this event to try and raise some funds.  Big thanks to Kelbie McDonald and Sarah Young who helped me organise the event, Rosie Stone and Oakhill for their judging and support and all the local companies who contributed prizes to the raffle.”
