Higher education residential bursaries now available

Myerscough College is pleased to announce a Residential Support Fund has been made available for new applicants to selected higher education courses.

Applicants in the chosen subject areas can apply now for assistance with the cost of living in halls. A bursary of £1,000 is available to be offset against cost of a full residential contract for first year students starting a course from September 2017.

The bursary is open to students applying to study on a full time Foundation Degree programme in the following subject areas:

*Ecology & Conservation Management

*Agriculture

*Horticulture

*Professional Floristry & Floral Design

*Cricket Coaching, Rugby Coaching

*Health & Personal Training

*Sports Coaching

*Basketball Coaching

Plus the honours degree programmes in:

*Agriculture

*Agronomy

The residential bursary is for prospective students on the above programmes accepting their UCAS offer before 8th June.

Students interested in accessing the fund are invited to apply once they’ve accepted their offer, and they do not have to wait until they are enrolled.

Successful applicants who receive the bursary are expected to continue to show commitment their chosen subject and ensure their attendance and ongoing behaviour is to an acceptable standard.
