Your Admissions Guide - Apprenticeships
Your Route to Enrolment!
You will have or will soon receive an email or letter to advise you of any steps that you need to take. You will be on one of the following routes:
Route 1: Assessment and Review Meeting
Applicants who have been allocated this route will need to attend a meeting in the workplace with their employer and one of our specialist Tutors. You should follow the instructions in your email or letter to ensure that you are fully prepared for the meeting. You will be required to complete a Maths and English Assessment during the visit.
Route 2: Fixed Start Date courses
Applicants who have been allocated this route will need to attend a meeting in the workplace with their employer and one of our specialist Tutors. You should follow the instructions on your email or letter to ensure you are fully prepared for the meeting. In some cases, we can complete a virtual visit, completing documentation online and making agreements over the telephone, you will be contacted directly if this is possible.
What do the Maths and English assessments involve?
The assessments are taken on a laptop, PC or Tablet and are designed to give us a comprehensive evaluation of your current aptitude in each area. The results of the assessment will allow us to ensure that your chosen course is suitable for you and to provide any additional support to assist you in your studies (if applicable).
