CG Level 2 Award in Sit-in All Terrain Vehicle Handling (Integrated Assessment) (Side by Side)

About the course

This one-day certificate of training course covering legislation, safety, risk assessment, operation of vehicle and rider techniques is designed to cover the Provisions and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998, for operators that use Sit-In ATV’s as part of their work equipment or transport. The course will briefly cover routine servicing and maintenance of the machines. The use of the machine with trailers, trailed implements and carrying loads can also be covered if required.

This course can also be booked as an NPTC City & Guilds certificate of competency qualification course; this is an extra £50 per candidate registration fees. Unfortunately, this cannot be upgraded from a certificate of training on the training day, prior booking is required.

Additional Information

Candidates must be 16 years old or over to attend this course

Candidates are not required to bring an ATV, but if the candidate prefers to use their own ATV they are more than welcome, as long as it is up to current H&S standards.

Candidates will be expected to provide their own safety/work boots, gloves and outdoor clothing when attending the course.

Additional Qualifications

The City & Guilds NPTC has a competence assessment schedule available for this. (All Terrain Vehicle Handling) http://www.nptc.org.uk

Fees for both the registration and assessment would be at extra cost. The assessment would need to be taken in your own workplace using your own machine at a pre arranged time

Further details can be obtained from The Lancashire Assessment Centre on 01995 642151
