Our Adult Skills in Liverpool programmes are our specially-selected Short Courses which, subject to eligibility, you may be entitled to have entirely or partially funded by the Adult Education Budget (AEB).

Funding for Adult Skills courses is available to residents in the
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority area only.

Adult Skills courses are for learners who want to become more proficient in their work-related abilities. They are ideal for supporting career development, improving progression opportunities or to learn skills to aid a change in career. Recognised qualifications are available subject to course completion.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing, researched by the New Economics Foundation and recognised by the NHS, are a set of evidence-based public mental health messages aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing of the UK. Our Adult Skills courses aim to fulfill the 5 ways to improve your wellbeing.
These are:
Take Notice: classes encourage your to be mentally present and focused.
Connect: to build social relationships with classmates sharing similar interest to you.
Give: new skills learned will help make a positive contribution to the lives of others.
Be Active: trying something new at Myerscough College.
