Are you looking to take up a new leisure activity, boost your career with professional qualifications or improve your skills? Whether you are investing in yourself or looking to receive funding for your training we have the right short course for you at our Croxteth Campus in Liverpool.

As a quick guide, meeting the following criteria will qualify you for fully funded online courses:

  • Over 19 and earning under £17,550 OR Age over 24 and unemployed
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
  • Liverpool home postcode

Courses are 50% funded for anyone with a Liverpool postcode.

Please note - funding is for Liverpool City region residents only. If you earn less than £17,550 per year and live within Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, Wirral or Halton) you will be eligible for free tuition* for the identified courses. If your salary is greater than this and you live within Liverpool City Region you will be eligible to receive funding for half your tuition*.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing, researched by the New Economics Foundation and recognised by the NHS, are evidence-based public mental health messages aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing of the UK. Our Adult Skills courses aim to fulfill the 5 ways to improve your wellbeing:
Take Notice: classes encourage your to be mentally present and focused.
Connect: to build social relationships with classmates sharing similar interest to you.
Give: new skills learned will help make a positive contribution to the lives of others.
Be Active: trying something new at Myerscough College.
Keep Learning: educating yourself and developing an understanding of new subjects.
