Entry requirements
Students need to be 16 or over and have an interest in a practical subject to qualify. No previous qualifications are required and the College provides support for those who have learning difficulties and disabilities.
Learning and assessment
Please note that due to the course consisting of land-based subjects; the majority of practical activities are carried outside with a good emphasis on working within the community (off campus activity)
Progression
On completion of this course it may be possible for students to progress onto a Level 1 course or into work.
Careers
It may be possible to find work in one of the vocational areas studied.
Special requirements
Wellington / work boots (preferably steel toe-capped), overalls, waterproofs.
