Careers Expo Angela

The annual careers day is an opportunity for students from across all subject areas to chat to a range of different businesses about the careers on offer in a host of sectors, as well as offering the opportunity to be part of more than thirty talks and workshops running throughout the day.

There was excellent feedback from students, staff and guests alike, who all enjoyed a highly productive day.

At Myerscough, our award-winning careers team support students via a dedicated Careers Zone at our main Bilsborrow centre, with direct access to quality resources and an advisor that supports learners to plan a personal career pathway.

Our advisors are trained to provide quality careers education, information, advice and guidance to all our students.

Myerscough College and University Centre continues to hold accreditation under the matrix Standard, national recognition of the quality of the service delivered.

Myerscough College is proud to hold all eight Gatsby Benchmarks – a measure of having excellent practice in careers advice and guidance.

The Gatsby Benchmarks provide a framework for career guidance, outlining the experiences and information each and every young person should have access to so that they can make an informed decision about their future.
