Thousands of pounds are once again available thanks to an annual travel scholarship for young people involved in agriculture, equine and horticulture.

It was the annual Wyre & Myerscough Hedgelaying competition at the weekend.
Myerscough College foundation learning students have taken part in a special Christmas Show at Brockholes Arms Auction Mart.
A plaque has been unveiled to commemorate Myerscough’s dear colleague, Dr Lorraine Allan, Head of Equine, Farriery and Veterinary Nursing, who passed away earlier this year.
Students from Myerscough College’s Bilsborrow, Croxteth and Witton Park campuses have been involved with various tree planting projects.
