To support the College’s long-term sustainability we will:

  • We will deliver ongoing value for money, including outstanding financial management and planning, which will effectively and efficiently enable quality outcomes for learners, good governance and the robust stewardship of College funds.
  • Deliver an annual plan that allows for ongoing investment in our resources.
  • Review College services and estate to improve resources, produce efficiency savings, financial, cyber and digital resilience and agility.
  • Promote and embed a green / sustainability agenda across all activities.

Investment in Facilities

600 hectares of open green surroundings at our Preston Campus and over £20 million of recent campus developments allow us to stay ahead of the game. We've recently seen new sports facilities, dining facilities and residencies as well as new veterinary nursing, animal studies, rural skills and engineering buildings. We've also launched our Food and Farming Innovation Centre, and a refurbishment programme at our Croxteth Park site in Liverpool.

Health and Wellbeing

Health and wellbeing is of paramount importance to us. We promote a proactive and positive health and safety culture. At Myerscough we also offer Occupational health support, eye tests, annual flu jabs and a free confidential counselling service.

Contemplation Room

Employees have the benefit of a contemplation room available onsite for quiet contemplation, praying and relaxation.

Our CPD team offers a diverse range of learning events that reinforce both individual and organisational capabilities. The College operates a termly CPD and well being programme with a wide range of events and seminars.
