It’s Employer Tuesday in National Apprenticeship Week, and this year, the group is looking to recruit more than 40 new Apprentice Workshop Technicians across its divisions, including Brandon Hire Station, AirPac Rentals, Torrent Trackside, Groundforce and MEP Hire.

The apprentices will be based at depots around the UK and opportunities exist in a large number of locations.

All the opportunities can be found here

The chosen apprentices will undertake a three-year apprenticeship programme covering both Level 2 and Level 3 on block release at Myerscough College’s main Preston campus.

Employer Services Manager Lee Price explains more: “We are extremely proud to be working across the divisions within Vp plc to help recruit and train the next generation of technicians and address any potential skills gaps in the industry.”

‘’The programme gives recruits an amazing opportunity to join an organisation committed to training and development and offers a great career path. We work closely with Vp to ensure curriculum content is relevant, up to date and represents the future needs of the business.”

“The recruitment phase is vital so we can make sure we get the right learners on programme. We work closely with Vp plc Human Resources team supporting at a series of recruitment and selection events. Competition is tough but this really is a great opportunity to pave a long-term career with the company.

‘’I am really looking forward to meeting the new recruits at the upcoming recruitment and selection days.”
