The team at Booths have planted a legacy wood at Myerscough College to celebrate 175 years of retailing and pay tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy.
It’s International Day of Forests, a day to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests, and trees outside forests, for the benefit of current and future generations.
A pilot project, providing additional funding for travel, for Myerscough students on land-based courses in agriculture, animal care and arboriculture and forestry at Ullswater Community College, has proved to be popular.
Myerscough College has hosted a special day of celebration of all things trees, in the fourth ‘Arbor Day UK’.
