Taryn began her journey in Mounted Games at just two years old. She initially competed with the Lancashire Team before progressing to the Mid Glamorgan Team, where she has represented them in competitions for the past three years.
Currently, Taryn is studying for her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Studies at Myerscough College. Her future plans include launching her own equine-based business, dedicated to helping children with a variety of physical and mental challenges build confidence through interaction with horses.
Taryn is a shining example of how passion, dedication, and education can combine to create exciting opportunities in the equine world.
Reflecting on her experience, Taryn said: “My time at Myerscough has helped me to develop the skills and confidence I need to set up my new business.
‘’I’ve really enjoyed my time at college. It’s given me the chance to work with a wide range of horses and has opened my eyes to the many different career paths within the equine industry.
‘’I’ve also made friends for life and would highly recommend Myerscough to anyone considering studying for an equine qualification.”
