About the course
The Employability Skills EL3 course provides a starting point for learners to gain awareness of employment opportunities, both paid and unpaid. The focus of Employability Skills is for learners to gain some of the skills which employers may require, including, team work, customer service and communication skills. Learners take part in a range of enterprise activities, such as hot chocolate sales and leading on charity events.
Students take part in weekly Maths and English lessons by specialist General Education tutors. Learners also have Maths and English embedded into their Employability curriculum, such as looking at cost and profit.
