What students will learn:
Tractor and machinery maintenance
Engine systems (diesel and petrol)
Hydraulics and electrics
Workshop skills (cutting, welding, fabrication)

Understanding the land-based industry
Includes around 150 hours of work experience.
Entry requirements & additional information
4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English Language, Maths and either a single or Combined Science.
Students will be assessed by practical assignments, a written exam and a health & safety exam.

Here at Myerscough we offer the full-time 'Level 3 CG Subsidiary Diploma in Agricultural Engineering' as well as the 'T Level in Land-based Engineering'. There are also a range of Apprenticeship options available.
