This course is a practical, hands-on qualification with an even split between theory and practical learning. It has been designed to teach students how to maintain, repair and operate agricultural and land-based machinery. Ideal for learners who enjoy both workshop-based activities and classroom study. Tractor and machinery maintenance

Engine systems (diesel and petrol)

Includes around 150 hours of work experience.

Entry requirements & additional information

4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English Language, Maths and either a single or Combined Science.
Students will be assessed by practical assignments, a written exam and a health & safety exam.
Further study: Here at Myerscough we offer the full-time 'Level 3 CG Subsidiary Diploma in Agricultural Engineering' as well as the 'T Level in Land-based Engineering'.
