About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated colleague to join the Animal Studies team as Senior Lecturer (Curriculum Lead).

This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of Animal Studies provision across our Preston, Warrington and Liverpool centres. Working closely with the Curriculum Area Manager, you will help drive quality, student success and operational effectiveness across the curriculum area. The role is 1.0 FTE, comprising a 0.6 teaching commitment based at Walton Hall, with leadership responsibilities across all centres.

We are looking for a colleague who can demonstrate:

  • A strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Experience of supporting curriculum quality improvement and learner achievement.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire both learners and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Relevant subject expertise alongside a teaching qualification and appropriate higher-level qualifications.
