Danny will once again use the immaculate student-built Talbot Samba to guide him round the narrow and bumpy lanes of this legendary event.

In its 50th anniversary year, the Mull Rally has been described as ‘the best rally in the world’ and the opportunity to compete was something Danny and the college couldn’t miss out on.

The Myerscough Motorsport team have just returned from the Isle of Man for the Chris Kelly Memorial Rally where Danny secured a class win and the hearts of many rally fans. A commentator even said it was their favourite car on the event and an honour to see it out on the stages.

Danny, a proven rally winner, should feel at home on the stages of Mull. Danny is really looking forward to bringing a Samba back to the Mull stages and proving what a capable vehicle, the Samba is. His inspiration for the build sprouted from watching Wynne Jenkins in his Samba on Mull in the mid-eighties.

Danny and co-driver Mark Standen will start at car 124 but will be hoping to improve on their seeding going through the event and secure another class win.
