Statement on incident in Liverpool city centre

We like to extend our heartfelt thoughts to all those who’ve been affected by the appalling incident on Water Street in Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Myerscough has a close affinity to the city, with our centre at Croxteth Park, and our hearts go out to all of those affected, especially those who have been injured.
We thank the first responders, emergency services and hospital staff for their professionalism and swift action, and supporters who witnessed this event and helped each other where they could.
