
Myerscough student wins prestigious agriculture award
Published: Friday 18 July 2025An inspirational Myerscough College student has been recognised with a prestigious agriculture award.

Isaac Sanderson has been named Myerscough Agriculture Student of the Year by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
Isaac is a final year Level 3 student and was presented with his award at last week’s Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate.
Tutor Liz Johnson said: ‘’Isaac has been an excellent student and has produced assessment work to a high standard.
‘’Isaac works on the family dairy farm where he is involved in all aspects from cows to field work. Furthermore, he is an active member of Bilsborrow Young Farmers Club and is involved with the quiz team.
‘’Overall, Isaac has been self-motivated and confident and is an asset to the Agricultural industry and we wish him well for his future endeavours.’’
