Myerscough recognised at Wyre Business Awards

The awards are aimed at businesses which are located or deliver services within the Wyre area, and celebrate success stories and promote excellence within the county.

Myerscough was pleased to be named a finalist in the category of Rural Business of the Year, with the ceremony taking place this week at Marine Hall, Fleetwood.

Myerscough representatives joined other businesses to celebrate their passion, expertise and contribution to Wyre’s economic development.

At the event Planning Policy and Economic Development Portfolio Holder at Wyre Council Councillor Peter Le Marinel commented: “It has been such a wonderful evening. This year, we saw an incredible number of inspiring applications which showcased the amazing work that businesses in Wyre are doing.

‘’Each applicant should be proud of their achievements.”

Being named a finalist recognises the College achievements and vital role that Myerscough has played in helping the local area over the last year, and highlights the College’s outstanding work across both academic and professional services operations.
