Published: Wednesday 10 September 2025The 2025 Turf Business Summit campaign launched with a well-attended Focus Group held at Myerscough College.

Turf care professionals from across the sector were invited to Myerscough for a day of industry discussions, ahead of the annual Summit, being held in Berlin in October, where the networking event provided an ideal opportunity to collect up to date and relevant data to shape the agenda.
As a key education provider in the sector, Myerscough facilitated discussions on the state of the industry, current problems and what can be done to resolve them.
Alongside these discussion sessions attendees were treated to a tour of Myerscough College’s state of the art Sports Turf facilities, including a nine-hole golf course, complete with its own automated irrigation system.
The professionals in attendance included a number of Myerscough alumni, with the college holding a significant place within the industry, and a large number of high-profile professionals having completed qualifications with the college.
Myerscough’s programme has become synonymous with quality education, hands on experience and industry relevance.
The college provided a unique setting for the Turf Business event, and saw a successful start to the 2025 Turf Business Summit campaign.
Data from the Focus Group alongside online polling responses will inspire the carefully curated discussion points of this year’s event, ensuring that only the most valuable and relevant conversations are had.
