Myerscough led from the start to take the title 80-62 at Manchester's National Basketball Performance Centre.

'Sco's lead flirted around the ten point mark for much of the second quarter before passing into double-digits for good after the main change, allowing the North West programme to run away to a comfortable win.

MVP (Most Valuable Player) recognition went to Vadim Creanga for his impressive 25 point, six rebound showing that included six triples.

The talented guard made more threes than the rest of his team mates combined as a true difference maker. Charlie Mason (10pts, 11reb) and Ruben Hezekiel (10pts, 8reb) both controlled the glass with useful contributions as Daniel McWilliams and Ryan Grant scoring nine apiece off the bench.

Huish were left chasing the game for the majority and didn't hit a triple until their 12th time of asking, ultimately finishing 3/22 from range on an afternoon when not enough dropped in their favour.

Myerscough’s U17s also made their final, where they were defeated by Holy Trinity School.
