The winning entries are in the Schools Design-a-Garden Competition, which sees our landscaping team bring to life gardens designed by junior school pupils.

This years garden designers were Chloe Stirling, from Dawpool C E Primary School, and Eve Archer, from Cottam Primary School who had their designs selected by a team of professionals from many hundreds of entries.

The gardens will be on display during the rest of the show and always receive a great deal of attention from the tens of thousands of visitors who attend every year as well as the odd celebrity!

Our Employer Services Manager, Lee Price, was delighted with the gardens and happy to be back in action at the show after an absence of two years.

“It’s great to be recognised. Thanks to the tutors and all of our learners who helped create them.’

“Obviously the show hasn’t run for the last two years so we were all itching to get back here and build the gardens.

“Great credit to the two girls who designed the gardens. They should be very proud!”

The Southport Flower Show runs until Sunday.
