City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Fork Lift Truck Operations (3 Day)

About the course

This training course is most suited for the person with some experience of using agricultural tractor loaders in the past and starting to use the telescopic lift truck for the first time. Under HSE regulations the telescopic handler is classed as a lift truck and not an agricultural machine, so the relevant Lift Truck regulations apply in operators gaining the official training and competence qualification. Suitable for the novice operator using a machine for the first time. Practical and theory tests need to be passed at the end of the course to entitle the operator to gain the certificate of competence. The course is accredited with the City & Guilds NPTC certification up on successful completion of the training and assessment test. See link for further details - http://www.nptc.org.uk/qualificationschemedetail.aspx?id=382 PLEASE NOTE: This training and assessment course may not be suitable for construction site workers, training to the CPCS level of competence may be required in this case
