Supported Internship Programme Level 2 Award

About the course

Supported Internship is one type of study programme specifically aimed at young people who want to move into employment and need extra support.  They are intended to enable the young person to become ‘job ready’.  Internships normally last for one year and they include one year work placements for at least 6 months. Students complete a personalised Study Programme working towards a qualification usually ‘Employability Skills’. Maths and English are also delivered as an important element.

Entry requirements & additional information

Students need to be 16 – 24 years old and have an Education Health Care Plan.
