About the course

The College offers an opportunity to study Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (Motorsports) aimed primarily at those interested in developing their skillset and moving into the Motorsport repair industry. A variety of techniques and procedures will be delivered to obtain the knowledge and skills required for routine maintenance and repairs. You will be using a fully functional up to date Motorsports workshop with all necessary tools required provided. The final certificate will be: City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma In Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Motorsports).

Entry requirements & additional information

Providing evidence of Maths and English Language at grade 4/C or higher and your L2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or evidence of practical ability whilst you have been employed in the industry). In addition Learning Areas may apply specific agreed aptitude assessments that assist selection. Applicants for all courses in Motorsports Studies are expected to show a strong commitment to the industry and a strong personal statement.
The Course will be assessed by: Online exams (Set by C&G), Course Assessments, Portfolio Building
