About the role

We’re seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join our Safeguarding & Student Support team as a Safeguarding & Support Officer.

In this important internal role, you will:

  • Act as a key contact for safeguarding concerns, ensuring that all referrals are managed effectively and in line with policy.
  • Work closely with students, staff, and external agencies to coordinate timely and appropriate support.
  • Promote a safe, supportive college environment where student wellbeing is prioritised.
  • Provide practical advice and interventions to help students overcome barriers to engagement and success.
  • Contribute to safeguarding training, awareness and continuous improvement across the college.

£25,082 - £28,834 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience, plus holiday entitlement. Please note the salary is based on 37 hours a week, 52 weeks per year.
