This page has been designed to cut through the jargon and give a clear indication of the actions that you need to take as a parent or guardian, before enrolment takes place.
The main thing to remember is that we will contact your son/daughter/ward directly via a letter* in regards to the most important occurrences throughout the year.
There are, however actions you can perform in the meantime to; speed up the Admissions Processes, ensure your Finances are in place before the start of the course and save yourself time during the Enrolment Day.
This information is specifically related to applicants who are attending Myerscough for the first time.
Step 1: Ensure the applicant has accepted their offer.
Detailed information about the offer can be found here but before most actions can progress, the offer needs to have been accepted. The offer can be found in the Messages tab on the applicant's MyPage (Student Login) account. The username and password can be found on the back of the offer letter.
Step 2: Complete the My Details section on MyPage (Student Login)
This is an extremely important process and will go on to become the Consent and Indemnity form once approved via the Parent Portal (under 18 applicants only).
Step 3: Access the Parent Portal and confirm the My Details information
There is an information page on how to access this service. It can take around 5 to 10 minutes to register but could save you up to 2 hours during the Enrolment Day. It is not necessary for you to confirm the details if the applicant is aged 18 years of age or over. Full instructions can be found here.
Step 4: Apply for Accommodation
Once the Accommodation Application System is open, you can apply for accommodation if you have accepted your offer and have fully completed the My Details section on MyPage (Student Login). More information is available here. We will contact you directly once this is available.
Step 5: Apply for the Bursary
Information about the Bursary can be found in the Finance section of the website. We recommend that you contact the Finance Team directly if you have any queries.
*In bespoke situations some correspondence may be sent via email rather than letter.
