About the course
This course is designed to offer advice to the 13- to 16-year-old tractor operator on how to safely operate the modern agricultural tractor and related machinery. Once the basic safety issues have been covered it is designed to be very practical and hands on, with plenty of opportunity to drive the machines.
All areas of the tractor are covered which include:
Trailers
Three-point linkage
Power Take Off (restricted operation covered due to HSE guidelines).

Entry requirements & additional information
There are no formal entry requirements for this course although some expereince with tractors would be an advantage.
Although it is not an assessment-based course a certificate of attendance is given to all trainees up on completion which will satisfy HSE training requirements.
Full time/ Apprenticeship Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering courses.
Level 2 CG Award in Agricultural Tractor Driving & Related Operations (16+)
Strong footwear, (ideally steel toe protecting)
Overalls or suitable work clothing.
Warm / Wet weather clothing may also be required
