Myerscough celebrated in Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards

Myerscough College’s provision has been celebrated at the Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards.

Myerscough was named as a finalist in the Training Provider/Programme of the Year category, with Tom Maddran, a Level 2 apprentice in Land Based Engineering (Construction Plant), shortlisted in the category of Intermediate Apprentice of the Year.

This prestigious event, organised by National World, aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of apprentices and employers across the region.

Employers and employees from throughout Lancashire gathered to celebrate the work of the region’s apprentices at a glittering awards gala at The Great Hall, Lancaster University, Bailrigg, Lancaster, on Wednesday March 27.

The third annual Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards celebrate and recognise the hardworking individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships and how they shape our future.

In 2022, Myerscough learner Cameron Barker was named winner in the category Intermediate Apprentice of the Year, for his efforts whole completing his Level 3 apprenticeship in landscaping.
