Online Study at Myerscough

Our popular part-time online Foundation Degrees in Sportsturf, Arboriculture, Landscape Management, Veterinary Nursing and Farriery continue to grow in popularity. They will commence with a new cohort of students in September 2009, as will the new Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training.

These courses follow a similar structure and curriculum to the full-time courses, with the online degree focused around web based learning material on the Myerscough College Online Learning Network (MOLLNET).

Online tutorials are an important element of the course, enabling students from a wide geographic area (including many from overseas) to gain a Foundation Degree qualification without having to live in close proximity to the College.

Subjects you can study include:

Animal Studies

Arboriculture

Farriery

Golf

Sportsturf

Online Learning for Business

We now offer tailor-made online training packages for businesses, where employees can study in the work place. Our team of multimedia professionals can create discrete training modules to suit your needs. These can include animation or interactive visual representation to reinforce learning, audio and video elements and on-line tests to assess the success of the individual learners.

The delivery of these packages will be through the college’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which is a secure, password protected site that is only accessible to your employees. The Virtual Learning Environment also has a discussion board and virtual chat room so that employees studying at the same time can communicate with fellow learners.
