This role will assist lecturers in module delivery, preparation of equipment and workshop areas together with delivery of practical and theoretical instruction in motorsports at FE level to ensure learners are effectively supported throughout the learning process. The successful candidate will have a motor vehicle industry background, hold GCSE level Maths and English and be IT literate. A willingness to work towards a teaching qualification is essential.

Lecturer in Agriculture Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the OFSTED Outstanding Agriculture team at Myerscough College. You will be required to ensure high quality teaching and learning is delivered and assessed on a range of practical and theory topics within Agriculture to students on Further Education courses. A Degree or equivalent qualification in an agriculture related discipline and a teaching qualification with evidence of consistent Grade 1 or 2 Lesson Observations and high success rates with learners is expected. Assistant Head of Inclusive Learning/SEND - Liverpool Centre Job Summary:

Farm Research Technician, Fixed term 02 March 2015 – 03 April 2015 Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a food supplement and sheep during lambing.  A National Diploma or a Level 3 Diploma in a relevant subject is essential for the role but a FdSc or BSc is preferable.  If you can demonstrate you have undertaken a research project and have lambing and animal stock handling experience we would like to hear from you.

Animal Academy Technician Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies team at Myerscough College.  As the Animal Academy Technician you will be required to assist in the day to day maintenance / running of animal unit, under direction of the Animal Unit Manager.  You will need to be pro- active in the management and maintenance of high welfare and care standards and have a duty of care for all animals on the Animal Unit. The role will involve working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. A Level 3 FE Animal Management qualification (or a related discipline) and significant industrial experience in working with a range of animal species are essential.
