We are looking to recruit two candidates in the role of Practical Lecturer or Lecturer in Construction Plant Maintenance/Land Based Engineering Operations

As part of the role you will be required to undertake delivery and assessment of Construction Plant Maintenance to enable learners to succeed. The successful candidate must have industry experience in Construction Plant Maintenance, a level 3 industry specific qualification, along with GCSE (or equivalent) maths & English. No previous teaching experience necessary but you must be willing to work towards a teaching qualification within an agreed timescale (if not already obtained).

Work Based Learning Tutor in Arboriculture Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the work based training team at Myerscough College.  The role will involve responsibility for the delivery and assessment of Intermediate and Advanced Level Apprenticeships programmes in Arboriculture within the workplace, ensuring the provision of high quality training, assessment and candidate support.  It is essential that you have a relevant Arboriculture qualification at level 3 or above and a depth of experience in the industry.

Lecturer in Equine – Croxteth Centre Liverpool Job Summary:

We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer who is able to ensure high quality teaching and learning is delivered on a broad spectrum of topics within Equine curricular area. It is essential that you have GCSE (or equivalent) English and mathematics at grade C or above and a Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.  You will also need to have a teaching qualification, with evidence of consistent Grade 1 or 2 Lesson Observations, or alternatively be willing to undertake teacher training within an agreed time period.

Lecturer in Vehicle Technology and Motorsport (Further Education) Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the established Motorsport team at Myerscough College.

The role is to deliver theory and practical sessions, to FE Motorsport students, including assessments. A level 3 FE qualification in a relevant subject, GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English, along with proven industrial experience and a passion for motorsports are essential. No teaching experience needed, however you must be willing to work towards a teaching qualification within an agreed timescale (if not already obtained).

Director of Farm Innovations and Operations Job Summary:

We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to undertake the role of Director of Farm Innovation and Operations and to strategically direct and manage the College’s new Food and Farming Innovation and Technology Centre (FFIT Centre).   The Centre will provide a range of new farm facilities which will lead the development and adoption of precision farming techniques within the livestock and grassland sectors.

The individual appointed would also be responsible for all farming operations and activities at the College.

The successful post holder will have proven management experience, be experienced in farm work, highly motivated, educated to degree level and be capable of successfully managing a team.
