An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Greenspace and Creative Design team at Myerscough College.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake some teaching within the Horticultural programmes, but also provide leadership and co-ordination for a range of HE courses ensuring accurate information, advice, guidance and support is provided to learners and staff to meet their aspirations and capability within the Greenspace curriculum. BA/BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Horticulture or a related discipline along with a teaching qualification is essential.

Work Based Learning Tutor in Arboriculture Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the work based training team at Myerscough College.  The role will involve responsibility for the delivery and assessment of Intermediate and Advanced Level Apprenticeships programmes in Arboriculture within the workplace, ensuring the provision of high quality training, assessment and candidate support.  It is essential that you have a relevant Arboriculture qualification at level 3 or above and a depth of experience in the industry.  Hours are 22.2 per week

Clinical Tutor for Veterinary Nursing – 18.5 hour per week – Maternity Cover Job Summary:

We require an experienced RVN to carry out visits to a range of VN training practices. You will take an active role in monitoring, assessing practical and theoretical work for a range of veterinary nursing students. This role needs an inspirational practical lecturer with skills to teach a range of learners with special learning needs, employability skills and knowledge related to land based industries. Instructor/Technician in Special Education Needs (Animal Welfare) Job Summary:

This split role will provide practical instruction to learners with special educational needs around animal care and welfare to expected industry standards under the direction of a Line Manager.  The successful candidate will have Level 3 FE Animal Management qualification, along with GCSE (or equivalent) maths and English.  Hours are 25.9 per week to include weekend working on a rota basis.
