Visit the campus – check out what’s on offer!
If you want to see the campus and get a feel for what Myerscough has to offer why not come along to one of our Advice Mornings or Evenings? These events serve as a great introduction to the College and are a real opportunity to find more about your chosen subject and the range of courses on offer.
Course tutors are present from our subject areas and they can offer you expert guidance on the choice of options and what you can expect from studying at Myerscough College. In addition, you can also chat with staff from our admissions, finance, learning support and student services teams.
At the main Preston campus the Saturday morning Advice Sessions start with a welcome and introductory talk (focusing on student life at Myerscough.) The first talk starts at 10.00am and is then repeated at 10.30am and again at 11.00am. Each of these is then followed by individual subject talks, ‘question and answer’ sessions and often departmental tours, with staff from each of our departments. These focus on the courses, facilities and careers progression within that subject area. Campus tours will run at several times during the morning and support staff from our Admissions, Finance, Accommodation, Apprenticeships and Inclusive Learning teams will be available throughout the morning.
If the weather is wet then please come prepared with some suitable outdoor clothing! There is no need to book in advance and there is plenty of free parking on site.
Taster Sessions
Taster sessions are sometimes available in the subjects we offer. These provide you with the chance to experience the subject you are thinking of studying with us, in more depth, with practical activities. See below for details of any Taster Sessions currently available. Sometimes these need to be booked in advance, and in the case of tasters at the Preston Centre, they normally cost £10 (to include lunch).
