Work Based Tutor in Horticulture (North West)

With growing numbers of Landscape and Horticulture Apprentices, there is now an exciting opportunity for a dynamic work based tutor to join our growing delivery team. This is a field-based role and you will work flexibly completing on site teaching, learning and assessment across the North West area of the country specialising in Horticulture.

 

It is essential you hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a vocationally related subject. You will have a full Assessors Award, Level 3 teaching qualification and English and maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above or be willing to achieve these qualifications within an agreed timescale.

 

You will have a flexible approach to your work, hold a full driving licence and be comfortable to travel as required. You must have sound industrial experience with a passion to imparting this knowledge on to new apprentices in the workplace. You will have strong administration and organisational skills and high levels of attention to detail. This role will ideally suit someone with existing educational experience or someone looking for a career change. Full training and support will be given by the college including a mentor.
