Quality Assurance and Development Co-ordinator (Apprenticeship & Skills) 29.6 Hours per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Quality & Performance team.

As Quality Assurance & Development Co-ordinator (Apprenticeship & Skills) you will report directly to the Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessment, providing comprehensive and efficient co-ordination across a range of quality assurance activities within the Apprenticeship directorate of the College.

The successful person will take a lead role in providing effective co-ordination of Quality Assurance across all the work-based programmes.  The post holder will also work will a wide range of staff to support active participation in all quality improvement processes across the Apprenticeship provision including self-assessment and performance audits.

We are looking for a positive, committed and motivated individual who can work well under pressure and to deadlines. To be successful, you will have strong analytical, IT and communication skills and be able to build good relationships with a wide range of colleagues. Experience of quality assurance processes and sound knowledge of apprenticeships and work-based learning is essential to the success of the role.

The successful candidate must have:

GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Maths at grade C or above

A Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher qualification.

Teaching qualification e.g. PCGE/Cert or be willing to work towards within an agreed timescale

Experienced / High achieving Assessor 

Experienced Internal Verifier

Assessor / IV qualifications D32/33/A1 & D34/V1/IQA

Salary: £27,570 - £35,287 per annum pro rata in accordance with qualifications and experience.
