Lecturer in Animal Studies (1)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies team at Myerscough College. You will be required to ensure high quality teaching and learning is delivered on a broad spectrum of topics within Animal Studies, mainly Further Education with a strong science bias. It is essential that you have a Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Animal Science/Behaviour/Welfare, GCSE (or equivalent) English and mathematics, at grade C or above, along with significant experience within the animal care industry. You will also need to have teaching experience within the FE sector and hold a teaching qualification, with evidence of consistent Grade 1 or 2 Lesson Observations, or alternatively be willing to undertake teacher training within an agreed time period.

 

Salary: £20,357 - £29,526 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience (minimum starting salary for qualified Lecturers is £23,795 per annum, pro rata).
