Casual Animal Studies Centre Technician – Witton Park Centre, Blackburn

We currently have a vacancy for a casual Animal Centre Technician, based at our Witton Park Centre, Blackburn, to cover a period of sick leave.

 

You will be required to assist in the day-to-day maintenance / running of the animal unit including management of stock levels and resources.  You will need to be pro-active in the management and maintenance of high welfare and care standards and have a duty of care for all animals on the unit. The role will involve working weekends on a rota basis.

 

It is essential that you have a level 3 FE Animal Management qualification (or a related discipline), along with GCSE/level 2 (or equivalent) English and Math and industrial experience in working with a range of animal species.

 

Rate of pay: National Minimum/Living Wage
