Assistant Manager (Catering)

You will be responsible to the Deputy Catering Operations Manager for the day-to-day catering operation in the main restaurant. You will assist other catering outlets across campus, as well as being actively involved in all staffing requirements and have responsibility for the control of stock in your areas.

 

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of dealing with procedures, which concern all known food allergies and the legal requirements from a business point of view. You will also hold Basic Food and Hygiene Certificates, a management qualification, along with GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at Grade C or above.  Proven industrial and management experience and working in a similar environment are also essential. 

 

Hours of work are 37 per week to include 1 weekend in 4 on a rota basis.

 

Salary £16,960 - £20,657 per annum
