If you are interested in studying Public Services then our our upcoming taster day at Myerscough College is perfect for you.

The aim of the taster day is to provide you with an opportunity to meet the rest of the student cohort as well as some of our existing students. You will be able to familiarise yourself with the college facilities and you will have a chance to meet the tutors you will be studying with and perhaps have a ‘dry run’ of how to get to college.

The day will consist of various public service activities such as; teamwork and leadership tasks; problem solving tasks and light physical tasks/activity.

Lunch break will be from 12 until 12.30pm. You will need to bring your own snacks, drinks, and lunch with you.

In terms of clothing and equipment, you will also need physical training kit/tracksuit plus waterproof coat for the day, in addition to footwear that is suitable for outdoors use/getting muddy and a notebook and pens.

Please note that you will not be allowed to leave the campus for insurance reasons on the day.

On the day itself please report to the main reception at 9.45am and you will be met there by a member of staff.

YOU MUST BRING A FILLED IN CONSENT AND INDEMNITY FORM WITH YOU. Download your form here.
