Please note: The information below relates to 2019's Open Day and Country Fair. We will update this page as soon as we have more information regarding the 2020 Open Day and Country Fair.
In our Countryside Zone, we'll have plenty of performances and demonstrations throughout the day. In the main arena, as well as agricultural showings from our students and our animals, we'll also have demonstrations from Terry Large Falconry with his birds of prey flying display, gundogs and more.
Not only that, there will be the agriculture marquee with displays of sheep and cows. Watch the art of sheep shearing, see the Dutch Spotted Sheep and some rare breed animals.
We will be hosting the 3rd Annual Dutch Spotted Sheep Show. If you raise and breed Dutch Spotted Sheep make sure you take part in our show. For full details and how to apply download our DSS 2019 Application Form.
‘Have a go’ at some countryside activities and dogs are welcome to take part in the BASC Scurry League.
The Countryside Zone is home to a variety of organisations connected with the agriculture and countryside areas, charities, public services and more.
