The group headed to Porto for the camp hosted by Sunlive Basketball, which included Myerscough competing in a number of fixtures as well as a full training schedule during the trip.

Myerscough College Basketball Academy Head Coach, Neal Hopkins, said: "This was a great opportunity for the guys to gain some valuable international experience whilst enjoying some time away with their new teammates.’’

In addition students from Myerscough's new Foundation Degree in basketball coaching made the trip and took part and led on a number of sessions as part of their new bespoke course.

Current foundation degree student Edvards Sirmbardis said: ‘’It was a great experience to be involved in a coaching capacity and I achieved a greater understanding of international basketball and how coaches adjust to different scenarios.’’
