Myerscough College’s basketballers are now hoping for another successful end to their season as their EABL (Elite Academy Basketball League) play-offs get underway next month.

After finishing the 2017/18 season as overall runners-up in the national championship game, Myerscough were defeated in the semi-finals last season, so are hoping to go one step further this time.

For the 2019/20 season, teams were split into Northern and Southern Conferences, with Myerscough in the North, alongside Manchester Magic Academy, Charnwood, Newcastle Eagles, Derby College, South Gloucestershire & Stroud College, The Sheffield College, and James Watt College.

Myerscough have dominated college basketball since their formation in 2013, winning doxen of regional and national titles in less than seven seasons. Further high-level playing opportunities this year for students include the National Basketball League and the European Youth Basketball League.
