Myerscough College to welcome Olympic Dressage gold medallist

Olympic dressage gold medallist, Carl Hester MBE, will appear for his only UK date of 2018, at Myerscough College’s International Equine Arena.

Tickets are on sale now for Carl’s Intimate Masterclass, which will take place at Myerscough on Saturday, October 20th.

To riders and equestrian fans around the world, Carl Hester needs no introduction. The multiple medalist and Olympic rider is one of the most in demand trainers in the world and a master horseman. Carl will work with a number of horse and rider combinations across the levels during the masterclass, sharing his wisdom and learnings that have made him one of the most famous names in Dressage today.

Carl said: ‘’I’m delighted to announce that this year, I will be heading north! I’ll be giving a Through the Levels Masterclass at Myerscough College, working with a number of rider and horse combinations throughout the afternoon. We hope to see you there!’’

Kelly Thompson, Equine Operations Manager at Myerscough College, said: ‘’This is super exciting news . We are very lucky to be hosting this event. Make sure you put the date in your diary!’’

Carl Hester was selected to represent the United Kingdom at the 2012 Olympics in London. The GB Dressage team won the gold medal, followed by silver in the Rio Olympics in 2016. He was awarded the MBE in 2013 for services to equestrianism.
