As Director of Student Support and Welfare you will take a lead role in delivering the College’s strategic objectives in supporting ‘Opportunities for all to succeed” via the provision of outstanding student support, welfare, prevent and safeguarding services.
The successful candidate must have highly developed knowledge of safeguarding issues and be a Designated Senior Person for safeguarding (DSP) or be willing to train towards this as soon as possible. You will have experience of supporting the 16-18 age group along with management/supervisory experience. You will also have a Foundation Degree (or equivalent level 5 qualification) or a Level 4 qualification and willing to work towards a Level 5 in an agreed timescale, along with GCSE English and Maths grade C or above (or equivalent Level 2 or willing to work towards in an agreed timescale.

Salary; £34,264-£45,995 per annum in accordance with qualifications and experience.
