About the course

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to sport for those wishing to look towards a career int he industry. It is extremely popular with school leavers who want to combine practical based training with sound theoretical knowledge.

Entry requirements & additional information

Entry requirements

¨ a minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade D or above to include English Language

¨ or equivalent qualifications.

Learning and assessment

Learning is via a range of methods including classroom theory sessions, discussions and workshops as well as practical activities and demonstrations.

Assessments will include assignments and practical work. There are no formal examinations on the Level 2 Diploma

Progression

This course would be an entry qualification for a two year Level 3 Diploma in Sports and Exercise Sciences, Sports and Exercise Sciences (Netball Studies) or the Level 3 Diplomas in Golf, Football, Rugby or Cricket.
