Cake Decorating - Intermediate Course

About the course

This course has been specifically developed to follow on from one of our basic level courses in cake decorating. Delivered in such a way, that it will enable the novice to advance their skills to the next level using new techniques and ideas.

As with the basic level course, the content can be flexible to the group needs of the students, but aims to cover the following points:

· Icing bags, piping work and rolling sugar paste

· Filler flowers and roses

· Piping on to the cake

· Novelty cake design, figures and model making

· Wedding cake with advanced flowers

· Dust flowers and wire into a spray

Special Requirements

Additional Equipment - Students will be expected to bring their own equipment or purchase some tools prior to and during the course as well as bring materials/ingredients with them on certain weeks.

You will need to bring an apron/overall for all sessions and rolling pin on occasion and should you wish to, please feel free to bring your own camera along to take photographs of the tutor demonstrations and your own handy work on the night!
