Entry requirements
This course covers practical skills and relevant background knowledge. Students are normally aged 16 or over and the following qualifications are needed:
- a minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade D or above to include English Language
- or equivalent qualifications.
- A keen interest and experience in Basketball
Learning and assessment
Assessments will include assignments, formal exams and practical work.
Progression
This course would be an entry qualification for a two year Extended Diploma in Sports Performance and Excellence Basketball Studies Programme.
