This multi-level course in woodturning has been developed to take students with various ranges of experience in woodturning to a level where they can safely design and manufacture projects on a small or medium woodturning lathe.

3 hours per week for 8 weeks

Candidates will be instructed and shown how to safely operate the lathe with the aim of producing a range of projects based on their skill and experience.

At the end of the course, students should have gained sufficient knowledge to competently and safely set up their own workshop and tools at home in order to produce turned items to a good standard
