Hands on Introduction to Dog Grooming - Clitheroe

About the course

This one day course offers to learner the chance to have a go at the basics of dog grooming. These skills can be transferred and used on your own dog or as a starting point to gain more experience in the grooming world.

The course will include -

Learning correct bathing and drying techniques

Learning how to safely brush out coats

Learning how to clip out pads and sanitary areas nail clipping and ear cleaning

Dependent on the learner clipping and deshedding may be covered.

This course does not lead to a qualification, but can be supported by a Myerscough College attendance and completion certificate if required to commence and support further training.

DOGS ARE PROVIDED SO PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN

Additional Information

All tools and equipment will be provided, but candidates are expected to bring a suitable waterproof apron or specialist grooming top and wear suitable non-slip footwear. These items are available on line from http://www.groomers-online.com/
