Hands on Introduction to Dog Grooming - Clitheroe

About the course

This one day course is designed to suit both the pet dog groomer looking for training and advice on looking after the family pet or the sound start for the person considering a possible career in the dog grooming industry.

On this 1 day course you will need to do 1 of 2 things-

1 -learn to groom your own dog - you can bring your own dog for the day and you could spend the day going through the full process of the groom and you will be sent away with a list of tools you will need to complete your own dog and an instruction pack.

2- Have had a taster on whether you enjoy grooming after doing a day with us and then they can go on to book a valid L2 or L3 qualification. On the day you will be learning bathing ,drying, and a basic trim e.g. full clip off or outline trim.

This course does not lead to a qualification, but can be supported by a Myerscough College attendance and completion certificate if required to commence and support further training.

The course is delivered in partnership with Canine Groom School

Additional Information

All tools and equipment will be provided, but candidates are expected to bring a suitable waterproof apron or specialist grooming top and wear suitable non-slip footwear. These items are available on line from
