ATV Operations Training - Sit Astride

About the course

This one day training course covering legislation, safety, risk assessment, operation of vehicle and rider techniques is designed to cover the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) for operators that use ATVs as part of their work equipment or transport. The course will briefly cover routine servicing and maintenance of machines. The use of the machine with trailers, trailed implements and carrying loads can also be covered if required. Although individual competence assessment is not part of the programme it can be arranged by individuals separately upon completion of the training.

Additional Qualifications

The City & Guilds NPTC has a competence assessment schedule available for this. (All Terrain Vehicle Handling) Fees for both registration and assessment would be at extra cost. Details can be obtained from the tutor whilst attending the course.
